So, I have been pouring over what is out there and what I need to deal with, and have come up with the following list of items:

Air: Need to build an adapter to adapt up the Mustang throttle body Brian gave me to the intake manifold I won on eBay for $1.

Sensors: Need a few of them, I have most already. The O2 sensor is the sticky one. I spent a few hours on this, and I want to use a wideband. A controller for one is a hard problem, sort of. I think I am just going to buy the one from Innovate Motorsports and call it good, otherwise I could be wrapped up on this for a good long while.

Fuel: Need to find an EFI pump that I can install in the tank, probably building a new inlet plate for the current tank. Will need to put in a fuel line, and can probably use the old fuel line as a return. Need wiring as well, which I already have. I’ll also need to fabricate a fuel manifold for the injectors and machine the intake manifold to take the injectors. Need to get injectors.

CPU: Need to assemble the MegaSquirt and Stimulator, and test. Also need to design and build a relay board, and wiring harnesses.

Wiring: Need to build up harnesses. I bought a ton of wire for this, so I just need to make it happen. Will need to hook it into the original wiring at some level. Brian thinks it would be prudent to goto Pull-n-Save and get a harness off a Crown Vic or something

As such, things are underway. Lots to do, but I think it is reasonable. Next update I hope to have the intake manifold, maybe the injectors, and the MegaSquirt assembled.
