So, I am back in Utah now for a week and a half at least. I made it to Brian’s last night around midnight. I was kind of zonked from the drive, strangely enough, usually it doesn’t frazzle me so much.

The two weeks prior in Los Alamos were hectic. As soon as I made it in, Mariel arrived, and I helped her get situated, and then her and I popped down to Socorro for a few days to hang out with Christy who had come in from Oklahoma. Finally made it back to Los Alamos, and had a little bit of a chance to relax for a day or two. Mom and Dad came up that weekend and helped me clean up the yard, which was a big help. Last week was just insane. Any free time I thought I was going to have did not happen. Clients had stuff for me to do, and I was running ragged trying to make sure everything was happy before I headed back out again. I mentioned to my neighbor that I planned a garage sale, and he told me they were having one on Saturday, and that I should have mine then since they already had the ad in the paper and whatnot. So, yet another thing to get ready for. Scott needed help running some ethernet in his house, so I offered to pop down for an evening. I guess he thought I was going to stay overnight and most of the next day, so it was kind of rushed when he found out I only had the evening to help him out.

The garage sale kind of happened at the last minute. Kija came up and helped me get it going. We made about $150 off it, which helps. Right after, I packed up my lab into the trailer and made ready to head off to Utah on Sunday.

Right now all my lab stuff is still in the trailer in front of Brian’s house. I’ll be bringing it to the lab tomorrow. Most of it will go into my lab, but they are also letting me take a corner of the warehouse across the road to use as my storage shed for the time being. Saves me like $80 a month right there.

With the exception of mailing lists, everything is moved to the new server in California. I’m happy that is finally taken care of. Next time I am in Los Alamos I can go get the old server and take it off line.

I am going to help Brian put a gate on his fence so he can park his car trailer back there. Should be interesting to do. I have plenty of things to do from now until I head out of here, sheesh. Next Wednesday I am flying out to Chicago to head up to Madison, WI to goto a friend’s wedding. I’ll be back in Utah not too long after that.

Kija sounds like she is getting ready to get an apartment, and Mariel is still looking for a job. The two of them might end up roommates. I’ll be happy to get more stuff out of the house; her things to Albuquerque, and my stuff to Utah. The more empty I can get the house the more ready it will be to get sold. I’m hoping it will sell quickly, otherwise it will be hard to afford housing out here as well.

Anyway, I have a laser I need to go strip, but everyone had been asking what was going on, so… I hope this answered your questions.
