Kija got her wisdom teeth pulled this morning. She’s still pretty out of it, which is why I was able to get this picture without being hit.
Snow in Los Alamos today. Nice day, at least for me.
First off, I was playing around with the camera and new flash the other day, and took some shots of some old circuit boards I had in my junk box (sort of, I also took some shots of a Soekris board I am working with). I think some of them turned out OK. I’m not particularly impressed with them, but happy for the time being. I think if perhaps I have some more light here and there that it might make things a little more exciting.
Regardless, on with the entertainment.
So, I rode down to Albuquerque today, all early like, at least for me. I was supposed to be at Jo’s house at 10, but I didn’t make it until after 11. She was moving and I volunteered to help out with that effort. We ended up doing two truck loads and I think we got mostly everything all moved. I really like the layout of her new house and the colors, by the by.
At some point, I volunteered myself to host a New Year’s party at my place, so, if you know where I live, show up New Year’s eve at my place for a party. Wheee.
I left Albuquerque around 4 and headed to Socorro, where the fun started…
So, I got the lab cleaned up the other day. And, I finally got the stop motion movie of cleaning it done and uploaded here. It’s 17MB, but the quality is pretty good. Let me know what you think. I probably need to massage the music a little.
Anyway…
Sheeesh, ya get busy and then the blog gets stale..
It’s been busy out here recently. I finally got the lab cleaned up, and my little stop motion experiment seemed to work out pretty well. I gotta finish the editing and then I will share it with you.
Kija’s best friend Whitney got married a while back, so the new pictures are all from that shindig. I didn’t get very many good shots, but I wasn’t really trying too hard, just playing around with shooting people in action.
So, I’m in Albuquerque for the weekend. Kija’s friend Whitney is getting married, and apparently I have to show up as well. And no, I am not allowed to bring a date, I already asked.
As such, I brought the camera, and I hope to take some shots that are worth a darn of… whatever. I really don’t know yet. I’ve been really busy this last week, mostly procrastinating, and have not posted anything. I still have a ‘stop motion’ photo experiment in progress, I hope to have that posted up here in the next week.
Anyway, back to the joy that is someone else’s wedding.
